Sir Heavy Duty is a range of automatic bar feeders developed for Index multi-spindle CNC lathes with 6 or 8 spindles. It is intended for demanding applications with bars from 4 to 52 mm in diameter and 1500 to 4300 mm in length.
It enables easy bar loading and efficient handling of remnant material without the need for a standard feeding device. This significantly saves production space and enables a more efficient workstation layout.
IEMCA patented adjustable coils provide high flexibility when changing bar diameters and enable quick adaptation to different material sizes. The feeder design also allows high rotational speeds and ensures reliable operation.
Sir Heavy Duty is available with a Multi Rack or Bundle magazine with capacity for material bundles weighing up to 2 tonnes. The equipment also includes a bar-end drilling unit, enabling further material processing directly within the feeding system.
The feeder is compatible with Index multi-spindle CNC lathes MS16 Plus, MS18/6, MS22/6, MS22/8, MS40/6, MS40/8 and MS52/6.

Does IEMCA offer high-pressure coolant systems?
Yes. IEMCA offers 2 high-pressure coolant models – Blue Line 100 and Clear Line 50. Both models can be integrated with an IEMCA bar feeder or supplied in the standalone SOLO version, which does not require an IEMCA bar feeder.

What bar diameters and lengths can IEMCA bar feeders handle?
IEMCA bar feeders can feed bars from 0.3 mm up to 100 mm in diameter and from 90 mm up to 6380 mm in length.
